Meet the Polyvia showcase: 22 models made to inspire
Our new showcase gathers 22 models, from a cat in plate armour to a haunted chef, all made in Polyvia. Here is what is in it, why we picked each piece and how to use it as a starting point for your own ideas.
A blank prompt box can be the hardest part of any project. So we built something to fill the silence: a showcase of 22 models, every one of them made in Polyvia, that you can spin, zoom and study right on the home page.
What is inside
We wanted range more than polish for its own sake, so the collection deliberately jumps between genres, scales and moods:
- Heroes and characters: a medieval cat warrior, an elf archer, a regal king, an underwater warrior and a belly dancer mid-pose.
- Creatures: a fantasy griffin, a stone golem, an ice toad, a clever fantasy fox and a zombie that has seen better days.
- Portraits: a Medusa bust with a crown of snakes, a blue-haired head study and a porcelain-faced princess doll.
- Machines: a red sci-fi mech and a pair of exoskeleton arms.
- Places and props: a castle, a weathered stone archway, a retro television, a blood-red spear and a mimic disguised as a rag.
- Pure charm: a French bulldog and a ghostly chef who never quite left the kitchen.
Why a showcase and not a gallery dump
Every piece was picked to answer a question we hear often. Can it handle faces? Look at the busts. Can it do hard surfaces? Look at the mech. Does stylised work as well as realistic? Compare the fox with the golem. The showcase is a quick way to calibrate what a single prompt or reference image can realistically give you.
How to use it
Treat the showcase as a mood board you can rotate:
- Find a model close to your idea. Not identical, just close in style or form.
- Study the silhouette. Spin it and note what reads well from every side. Those are the details worth naming in your own prompt.
- Borrow the vocabulary. A cat in "dented steel plate with a red cloth tabard" teaches you more about prompt writing than any rule list.
- Make it yours. Head to the studio, describe your own version and see where it lands.
A living collection
The showcase will grow. As new styles and techniques prove themselves, we will add pieces that push them further. If you make something you are proud of, share it to the public gallery: that is exactly where we look for inspiration.
